 What is WASHU?

Washu is a traditional and innovative sake that connects people and is made in the climate and culture of Japan.
Japan has four distinct seasons, rice fields and a world-class rice farming culture.
Sake is made from rice and water in more than 1,200 sake breweries in Japan.
Alcohol beverages made with Japanese brewing technology are called “Washu” such as Sake, Shochu and Sweet cooking rice sake.

Washu is a traditional Japanese industry that Japan boasts to the world. It is popular with tourists who visit Japan and wine lovers around the world.
The brewing technology of sake breweries is innovating, the quality and label design of sake are also improving year by year. Moreover, the flavor and artistry are highly evaluated by people all over the world.

Washu Fes is one of Japan’s largest sake festivals where you can enjoy seasonal Japanese sake, food, and culture.
Washu Fes supports sake breweries that continue to take on challenges in the region, sake that is popular among local people, and sake lovers.
Washu Fes is held in spring, summer, and autumn, so you can enjoy delicious seasonal sake.

Event Guidelines

・The number of exhibitors and event content may change. Thank you for your understanding.
・The event program is subject to change or cancellation depending on circumstances.
・In case of bad weather, the decision to hold or cancel the event will be announced by 9:00 PM(Jpn Time) the day before on the official website (https://sakefes.com/) and via social media.
・If the organizer decides to cancel the event due to weather or other reasons, the ticket fee will be refunded.

Important Notes During the Event

・Entry is not permitted for those arriving by car or for minors.
・Please refrain from bringing children.
・Do not consume alcohol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・Drink responsibly.
・Take-out food is not allowed inside or on the dining tables.
・Bag checks may be conducted to ensure no outside food or beverages are brought in.
Please note: you may be asked to leave if you violate this rule.
・Only water and soft drinks are permitted as outside beverages.
・Guests who cause disruption or inconvenience to others may be asked to leave.
・The organizers are not responsible for any trouble, theft, or accidents during the event.
・Photos and videos will be taken during the event. These may be used for future promotions, including websites, social media, and event announcements.

Ticket Information

・Payment is accepted by credit card only.
・Resale via auction sites is strictly prohibited. Listings found will be removed immediately.
・Tickets will not be shipped after purchase.
・If you are unable to present your ticket on the event day, you may enter using your name, phone number, or order number.
